Das smartModule SM855-Cxxx basiert auf der Intel® Celeron® M CPU mit einem Clock von 600-1000MHz. Das Produkt zeichnet sich durch die effiziente Thermoschnittstelle und grosse Anzahl Schnittstellen aus. Funktionserweiterungen sind über den PCI-Bus und den 16Bit-ISA-Bus (mittels Bridge) möglich. Der Kupferkern transportiert die thermische Leistung unter kleinst möglichem Verlust zum Kühlkörper/Gehäuse. Das robuste und plangeschliffene Gehäuse schützt den Rechner vor Erschütterungen und hält das SODIMMRAM-Modul fest im Sockel. Das SM855 ist der kleinste Celeron® M Computer und passt z.B. auf ein PC/104 Standardboard.
